About Attachment Theory
I wrote a whole article in 2016 about attachment theory : SUR L'ATTACHEMENT. Maybe you can find a way to translate it?
Here, a nice and short animated video.
To start with something short and easy to read, I suggest a series of articles written by Jenev Caddell on verywell.com, starting with than one : 3 Key Factors in Healthy Relationships.
I'm a great fan of Sue Johnson's books and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) work. I've discovered attachment theory first through her book HOLD ME TIGHT and it completely changed my view of relationships, including mine. I was proud to later hear Clementine Morrigan then Jessica Fern in POLYSECURE also mention this book.

Sue Johnson then wrote LOVE SENSE, that I find remarkably interesting as well.
To go deeper into the theme of attachment, the book of reference for me is Jessica Fern’s POLYSECURE, which you might find interesting even if you're not into poly relationships. I also really like her second book which she wrote with her ex-partner.
I can also recommend several books in which I found insightful inspiration:
- WIRED FOR LOVE, by Stan Tatkin
- LOVE ME, DON'T LEAVE ME, by Michelle Skeen;
- ATTACHED, by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller;
- INSECURE IN LOVE, by Leslie Becker-Phelps.
